I have crushed pills and mixed with a very small amount of water, added it to a syringe and gave it that way. Also have added crushed pills to canned dog food to hide the smell of it. If he smells it sprinklered over dry food he probably won't eat it. Have also added it to a little pasta and mixed it real good. Have you ever tried a small piece or crushed, and rolled it in Liverwurst? Most dogs go nuts for it. You need to find something that he really likes and hide it in so he won't smell it or really taste it.
