my SAM is way over weight. I have him on cut rations. we alternate..... some dry with 1/2 can green beans and the 1 day with whole can green beans and o dry. Just started it this way so will see if he drops weight.....he need to loose about 2-3 lbs. So far he is doing great on it. The vet started him on the green beans w/ dry but we gave to many treats so didn't work. Now the only treats the dogs get is when i am doing a salad and the get lettuce which they all love.
