It sounds like a change in behavior. Maybe your Chi was frightened by something? Our smoke alarm was beeping one evening because the battery was low. One of our Chis was totally freaked out by the beep and was clingy and freaked out for a few days after it happened. Possibly it is feeling ill in some way or senses that you are ill?!!!! It is normal for Chi's to be clingy velcro dogs. The sudden change in behavior is not normal. JMHO, Sue
