Bless you for adopting a rescue.  I volunteer at a kill shelter during the
summer when we are in Michigan.  Fortunately they rarely euthanize the
little ones unless they are really unadoptable.  It is so hard not taking
them all home.  I have strict instructions from my daughter that I will not
become a hoarder!! HA! I try to make their days at the shelter as pleasant
as possible!
