I was recommended Blue Buffalo for my Chi.
Right now she's on the puppy formula. Its expensive but since Chi's don't eat
alot, Its worth it. One bag can last a month or more for like $20 bucks.

I just got my chi about 5 weeks ago too, so I'm still new to all this.
She had her first round of puppy shots, will get her 2nd in 2 weeks and will be
chipped also.
