OK just throwing this out there. I realized this morning that I have potty training issues with Piper. OK not that I am having issues potty training her but perhaps WHY there are issues.
I noticed that when I put her near the wee wee pad in the morning when I know she has to pee, she runs a lap, goes to the wee week pad and then uses it. This morning when I put her by the wee wee pad, she pooped right away. I praised her, cleaned it up and went into the kitchen to start breakfast. I noticed she followed me and then peed on the kitchen floor. I also noticed that after I gave her breakfast, she followed me into the living room to poop. Is it possible she wont eliminate without being in the same room with me? Could she have a minor form of separation anxiety. Or is this just a doggie potty training situation.?
