You didn't mention that you tried Rescues. There are hundreds of them in CA which may be able to help. Wish you and that poor baby good luck. The CA shelters will also abort the puppies and euthanized her if she is listed as a stray, after she is there for three days. If she is brought in as an owner surrender then they will put her down as soon as you walk out the door for lack of space. It is extremely bad in the CA shelters, they are all over crowed as it is.
