When I adopted my highly reactive abused GP last year he BARKED at squirrel farts and everything louder. I bought this CD and played it at the lowest setting on my stereo I could hear at which no one reacted. I wrote down the number and let it play at that volume 3-4 times then turned it up a couple of notches and let it keep playing. Every couple of days after it played thru at least 3-4 times I turned it up. Finally it sounded like a foundry in my livingroom and no one even raised an eyebrow at gun shots, firecrackers, thunder etc. This yr I played it a few days before the forth and on the 4th no one was bothered by the firecrackers. I play it for my fosters starting low and building up too. Now no one is noise reactive.
