The version in the downloads folder is the installer.
In fact, it is not recommended to install from a web page.
You are recommended to not run when you click on a link on-line, you should
instead save.
Then go to downloads, right click, and run as administrator.
Then, there should be an icon on your desktop for Chirp, if not, find it in
your start menu.

Everytime I download the windows version it will go to the install wizard and
installs, but when I go to downloads and try and bring up CHIRP it goes into
