This is what I have been using since 2012. The same basic concept
works for Windows XP (driver v2.0.2.1) and Windows 7 through Windows
11 (driver v3.2.0.0) when your programming cable identifies itself as
having a Prolific PL2303XA chip. The latest Prolific driver available
works for the newer Prolific PL2303TA chips.
