You can also contact your local HAM radio club, they usually have someone who can program radios with files that are set up for their region with not only repeaters but also club, weather emergency, and other agreedupon frequencies.

You can find repeaters in your area through websites like repeaterbook.com (also available as an app on most smartphones), or radioreference.com.
You can also import repeater info from inside the CHIRP program, using the import from sources (? not in front of a computer with CHIRP installed) option.
