The last I heard CHIRP does not support the 779 only the 778. You can
download the software from Anytone.

I am trying to programme this radio for a sight impaired friend. Is
there a compatible radio setting to the AT779UV in CHIRP I could use?
I know a few radios have been mentioned in other threads but I can’t
find them in the lists. Any help/guidance would be much appreciated.
