As far as I understand from the above posts, many people suggest Google  
Chrome to
have a user interface like Windows Live Messenger. If you want, you may be  
able to
keep the menu bar (which will have no menu items of course, except the  
minimize/restore/close buttons on the right top), with the current style of  
your
Windows OS.

Or, if you like Google Chrome style, but still if you have some personal  
preferences,
there should be some tweaks for the Google Menu, such as the color, instead  
of
default blue, the sizes of fonts, the minimize/restore/close button styles
(Vista||XP) etc...
