What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Double-click on a word in the URL bar, e.g. "google" in
"code.google.com"
2. "google." gets highlighted (notice the final ".")
3. Type a word to replace the selection.
4. Only "google" is replaced by the new word, not the final "."

What is the expected result?
What is replaced by typing a new word should match what is highlighted.

What happens instead?
The final "." is highlighted but not replaced.
