The same comment came up elsewhere.  I don't think it's worth blocking  
this, mostly
because I basically never see people actually doing user:pass HTTP auth  
(HTTP auth is
rare anyway, and people mostly encounter it as a dialog box; when they type  
anything
in the address bar they generally just type a username, but even that's  
really rare).
By the time the user is typing a hostname we'll have figured this out and  
blocked it.
