What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. log into gmail
2. expand the window vertically (grab the bottom, not the corner)
3. extra area is pure whitespace, not filled in with gmail content
It works fine in Chrome if you resize horizontally, or by grabbing the
corner so both dimensions are changed at once.
What is the expected result?
What happens instead?
