Issue 2768: IME: Current clause of Japanese IME doesn't appear to reflect its rage change. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=2768
New issue report by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: See <b\1302060> Steps to Repro: 1. Open input.html (attached). 2. Click within the input box. 3. Activate IME. 4. Type “yamamoto”, which generates “やまもと”. Don’t complete. 5. Convert it, which generates “山本” as one clause. Don’t complete. 6. Hit Shift+Left once, which shrinks the current clause by one char to “やまも”. ### PROBLEM ### You can’t recognize the range of the current clause (やまも). See Chrome.png (attached). The whole of the previous range (やまもと) has the same style (black with thick underline) as if the current clause is still やまもと. ### EXPECTED ### やまも should have a different style than the rest of the composition. 7. Hit Convert key. -> Converted to “山も戸”. So actually the current clause was shrunk to やま も, albeit unrecognizable. Environment: Chrome: 0.2.149.4 Windows: XP SP3 Ja Slipstream (no hotfix/gdr) IME: Default (Ja MSIME2002) Cicero: Enabled. (CUAS disabled) - Not repro on Omnibox. - Not repro on Notepad, IE6, Firefox 3.0.1 Ja, Safari 3.1.2 Ja on the same environment. (Safari might look the same as Chrome at a glance, but the current clause has a thicker underline than the others, thus recognizable.)
