There is a possible fix in build 2744, which you can try out here: http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp/2744/chrome-win32.zip No need to uninstall Chrome -- just download and unzip this file, then run chrome.exe in the unzipped folder. Let us know if you see any improvement by commenting in bug 93. Thanks for the report!
