Issue 3158: Raw Punycode is displayed though it should not be http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3158
Comment #3 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Thank you for reporting. This is another ICU data issue (actually CLDR). U+30FB U+4EDD U+3005 U+3006 U+3007 U+30FC I was aware of U+30FB, U+300[5-7] and U+30FC (I've already raised an issue about them privately with the CLDR), but not U+4EDD,U+66D9, U+7DBE Hmmm.. http://unicode.org/cldr/apps/survey?_=ja&x=characters lists not many Kanjis as exemplar characters for Japanese. I'll file a bug against CLDR. In the meantime, what do you think is the best set to use? All the Kanjis in JIS X 208 + Katakana, Hiragana + 'marks' in Katakana block (U+30Fx) would work? Do you think omitting Kanjis in JIS X 212/213 is problematic for IDN?
