Issue 3281: On Windows, Safari 3.1.2 and Chrome 0.2.149.30 both use the same user-agent string http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3281
Comment #2 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ reports the expected user-agent in both browsers. Yet whenever I run Web Soil Survey in both browsers, the application detects both as the same user-agent. (I am finishing development of Web Soil Survey 2.1, which does not do the "does not work correctly" thing for Safari and Chrome.) This is starting to look like an application bug, though it's hard to see how I could make the application do that - all this stuff is at request scope. Anyway, I accept that the browsers are doing the right thing, and you may close the bug if you wish. Thanks for the quick response and the clear diagnostic. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
