Issue 210: "Web page temporarily not available" issue http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=210
Comment #14 by taalgaard: Either you have antivirus or a firewall app that is blocking access to port 80 (the port used by web servers to send you pages) by Google Chrome. My McAfee has an exclusion list that allows apps in that list access to port 80. Since Google Chrome is a new browser it is not in the list. Add chrome.exe to the list of excluded processes in McAfee/Virus Scan Console/Access Protection/Port Blocking and it will work again with McAfee enabled. Windows firewall and other virus protection apps will also do the same thing as well as other firewall systems. Heck, it might not even be on your own computer. Your home network or office might have a firewall that is blocking access. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
