It looks like QuakeLive is currently restricting which browsers it operates
with, and
unfortunately Chrome is not one of them. The best course of action would
be to write
to bring the issue up with ID Software to tell them that you'd like to see
them add
support for Chrome on their live service (we'd like to see it as well, but
it's more
meaningful when a customer asks).
