Issue 4158: Javascript won't open an alert box when run from within a popup window http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=4158
Comment #3 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: My website that is manifesting the problem... http://www.freespa.net Each page throughout the website has a "sign up" link at the very top. Javascript is used to open a "popOpen" window with a sign up form containing its own Javascript to do form validation checks before allowing the form data to be submitted. All my Javascript code is internal and can be easily read by viewing the source. Click the "submit membership sign up form" submit button near the bottom and the Javascript functions will set focus on the first element that doesn't pass the test. What it doesn't do is display the alert box with its error message. To see Google Chrome perform properly, go directly to where the sign-up popOpen is targeted... https://www.freespa.net/cgi-bin/frespa.cgi?page=signUp Now click the submit button and the alert boxes will open as they should. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
