Comment #6 by TheHairy: Hey i've fixed it!! This worked for me so it might for you. Firstly check if .url is a file type in Default programs If so, this is not supposed to be like this so you need to unassociate the file type. To do this i have used this fantastic little program which i have attached where u can remove the file association.
