Issue 1897: EV SSL Certificate Indicator stops working sporadically. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1897
Comment #6 by cskarda: First, thanks for looking into this issue. We've done a bit more testing and we believe we have an instance of the problem that you can reproduce: Please view https://greenbar.digicert.com in Chrome -- This simple page is secured with an EV SSL certificate, but when we view it with Chrome the EV indicator does not appear. When we viewed the certificate information as you requested, the certificate comes up as not trusted (though the page initially displayed no certificate warnings when it was first loaded.) The root certificate is included in Chrome and should be trusted. The same root is trusted and works properly in Chrome, complete with EV indication for https://www.digicert.com We tried upgrading to the latest version of Chrome for Windows XP but got the same result I'll attach some screenshots to help show what we are seeing.
