First, thanks for looking into this issue.

We've done a bit more testing and we believe we have an instance of the  
problem that you can reproduce:

Please view https://greenbar.digicert.com in Chrome -- This simple page is  
secured with an EV SSL
certificate, but when we view it with Chrome the EV indicator does not  
appear.  When we viewed the certificate
information as you requested, the certificate comes up as not trusted  
(though the page initially displayed no
certificate warnings when it was first loaded.)  The root certificate is  
included in Chrome and should be
trusted.  The same root is trusted and works properly in Chrome, complete  
with EV indication for
https://www.digicert.com

We tried upgrading to the latest version of Chrome for Windows XP but got  
the same result

I'll attach some screenshots to help show what we are seeing.
