If I read correctly, what is being asked for is the ability to have a speed dialler page which works the way Opera's does? I would love to see this feature. I hate that if I visit a site a lot for research on one or two consecutive days it pushes out other sites and then stays in my favourites for a day or two after. Also, the positions keep moving based on recent activity, and not all the thumbs from sites I visit look so different that you can see at a quick glance (a longer closer look works, but defeats the point of a "speed" dial,) and I have found myself clicking the incorrect thumb on occasion when two such pages are next to one another and swap positions unexpectedly. If my telephone did this with its speed dial I'd be returning it as faulty. I expect position 1 to remain position 1 at all times. I'd like to see a regular speed dial, where I set what is on it and in what position, and this does not change without my manual input, along with a favorites list (no need for thumbs, it can just sit on the right along with recent bookmarks, etc. Everyone I speak to agrees that this is how the speed dial should work, not a changing list based on recent activity, but a manual user set one. Not sure if I should have opened a new request for this.
