New issue 4745 by dorianbreuer: mail.yahoo.com to: address field java doesn't work http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=4745 Chrome Version : <0.3.154.9> URLs (if applicable) :mail.yahoo.com Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: Firefox 3:OK IE 7:OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. log on to a mail.yahoo.com account 2. add a contact in contact tab 3. compose a new message 4. in the to: line, start to type the address or name of the contact you just added - if java was working right, that contact would automatically come up in an auto-fill/javascript function yahoo uses - very very useful! What is the expected result? auto-fill of contacts in yahoo mail will not come up (javascript). What happens instead? no auto-fill pops up Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. This autofill function I use 20 times per day (as do I'm sure millions of other users). I was shocked when it didn't work while using chrome. It is the #1 reason I don't use chrome except for rare uses - I have ymail open constantly so I can email and so it is never worth it to keep chrome open.
