It is not that we are not willing to support, it is more a question of not  
being able
to do much (from a coding standpoint). The File dialog is a generic windows  
dialog
and as such gets injected by shell extensions such as nVidia's. A bug in  
the shell
extension takes down the application and there is not much we can do about  
that.

However, you got me thinking. You mentioned something about disabling the  
nvidia
shell extension with some tool or other. What if you instead find  
nvshell.dll
(probalby under c:\windows\system32) and rename it to nvshell.dll.removed  
(or
something) and then restart Chrome. Can you still reproduce the crash that  
way?
