New issue 5037 by BETALb: No way to determine that local XMLHttpRequest failed http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5037 Chrome Version : 0.4.154.29 Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: OK Firefox 3: OK IE 7: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. load LOCAL html file 2. create synchronous XmlHttpRequest and request nonexistent LOCAL xml file in the same folder What is the expected result? ready state should be 4 and status should indicate, that loading have failed What happens instead? ready state of the result is 0, status is 0 no way to determine that request have failed Please provide any additional information below.
