New issue 5495 by asad79: Chrome Disconnects my PC from the Internet sometimes http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5495 Chrome Version : 1.0.154.36 URLs (if applicable) : Any random URL Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: NA Firefox 3: Works IE 7: Works What steps will reproduce the problem? Whenever I visit some websites, like www.microcenter.com and try to click on a few links, sometimes Chrome gets stuck on "connecting......" for a long time and then eventually I see that my entire PC has disconnected from my Wired router. This used to happen even in the Beta. No such thing ever happened in IE7 or FF3. What is the expected result? The entire system is momentarily "disconnected" from the router. It eventually connects again after 2 mins. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Windows Vista Ultimate x64 Intel Core2Duo E8400 Asus P5e-vm-hdmi 4Gb DDR2-800 500gb HDD Geforce 8800GT 512mb I will try enabling DNS pre-fetch and see if that helps. Although I doubt it.
