Personally, I want Chrome to be feed aware, but I do not want my browser application to be my feed reader (huge mistake in Firefox & Safari). The ability for Chrome to see RSS+Atom+Podcast feeds in the meta and in page content (not everyone properly codes in meta), and then allow me to subscribe in the web or desktop-based reader of my choice (Google Reader) would be all I really want.
