Comment #6 on issue 5083 by lhamp11: High browser process CPU usage from Flash on Vista http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5083
I have the same problem on XP sp2, so after reading this thread, I thought I would try something. I started chrome and did nothing else, task manager was already open. So chrome.exe started and ran @ 4 - 7% cpu usage for about 5 or 6 minutes, then it started another chrome.exe and went to 100% usage. Every thing else was just as Bengt has stated. Hope this might help. It is really irritating. Larry -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
