Comment #23 on issue 150 by DarwinsKernel: Type-ahead-find http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=150
I have two proposals: 1. Lets have a compile option for this; something like `configure --find-asytype [option]`. I am confident that this [feature] wouldn't be confusing for someone who is building from source code and moreover himself has chosen to have it as a feature in his build. 2. In current release of Chrome find-in-page, like Apple's Safari, doesn't follow found links Firefox does. What Chrome does, that Safari doesn't, is that you can hit Esc and then Return and it then will follow the presumably found link. You can at least take that Esc step out of the process so only a Return will do the job. Again you can make this available as a compile option so that it wouldn't effect the average user. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
