Comment #104 on issue 35 by koniosis: Maximize on second larger monitor not
working
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=35

Chrome is maximizing incorrectly on my dual monitor setup. My primary
monitor is
widescreen set to 1680x1050 my secondary monitor is a 4:3 set to 1280x1024.
I have an
ATI FireGL V7200 graphics card.

My primary (widescreen) monitor is positioned to the right of my 4:3
secondary
monitor. If I have my Windows Taskbar placed vertically between the two
monitors
(snapped to right edge of the secondary monitor and locked) then when
maximizing
Chrome on the secondary 4:3 monitor it extends horizontally into the
primary display
by about 25%, making it unuseable.

If however, I move the Windows Taskbar to the left edge of the Primary
monitor (so it
has changed screens but is still vertically in the middle between the two)
then
Chrome resizes correctly. No other applications exhibit this behaviour.

This has also been reported in the troubleshooting section:
