New issue 6043 by omattos: Saving a page as "Web Page, Complete" misses elements linked from css http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6043 Chrome Version : 1.0.154.42 URLs (if applicable) : http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=test Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: IE 7: FAIL What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Browse to http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=test 2. Right click a blank bit of page and choose "Save as..." 3. Save the file, and then re-open the saved file in chrome. 4. Notice images at the bottom are missing. What is the expected result? 4. Entire HTML document, CSS, and images are all saved, and links are re- written to reference the local files. What happens instead? 4. Entire HTML document, CSS, and images are all saved, and links are re- written to reference the local files EXCEPT files referenced in CSS. For some reason IE seems to do exactly the same - is there some "save URL as web page complete" library function that causes this? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
