Reproduced and confirmed with a small test case. See attached file and diff
runme.sh
runme.fixed.sh - the only difference is linking "v8"
So all we need is a patch to make sure that libtest_shell.so is not linked
against v8
when it is built ... my patch does that but it might not be 100% right for
other
build environments etc.
