New issue 6186 by tal.ayal.cohen: Full-page-zoom works badly in GMail http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6186 Chrome Version : 2.0.156.1 URLs (if applicable) : http://mail.google.com/ Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: Firefox 3: OK IE 7: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Go to http://mail.google.com/ 2. Click Ctrl-+ (full page zoom) What is the expected result? Page is zoomed, but layout is refreshed so that page width does not increase. What happens instead? Page is zoomed, but no layout refresh takes place: a horizontal scrollbar appears. This makes Chrome+GMail utterly useless for people who require larger fonts... Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. It seems like FF 3 explicitly re-lays-out the page when GMail is zoomed (a horizontal scrollbar briefly appears, then disappears when a new layout is calculated). This is different then how FF 3's zoom seems to work elsewhere. Perhaps there's a GMail-specific hack in FF 3? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
