We allow users to drag and drop anything onto the address bar, and to drag and drop random text *that looks like URLs* onto the titlebar. This combination makes it feel like the last bit is an oversight. Certainly it was frustrating when it was what I wanted to do. Let's not assume we understand users' intentions, and just do our best to handle whatever they do; so, we should paste-and-search for random text dropped in the titlebar, and FWIW, I'd like to be able to do something similar for text dropped in the content area too. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
