Open a page with gif image, i.e. http://www.labnol.org/assets/images/WebsiteLoading_F08C/stop-animated-gif-movies.gif 2. Create a new tab 3. Switch to the new tab 4. Switch back to the page with gif When I clicked the link in Step 1, the GIF just displayed in the tab WITHOUT any animation at all. It did not start animating until I refreshed the image.
