New issue 6346 by Hiugong.Gwok: 'Unsafe' download saved to application folder despite download location setting http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6346 Chrome Version : 2.0.157.0 (7919) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Choose Download Location at Options/Minor Tweaks 2. Uncheck "Ask where to save each file before downloading" 3. Download any "unsafe" file, say example.exe. 4. Click Save when prompted. 5. Download starts, "unconfirmed #####.download" file can be seen in the Download Location folder. What is the expected result? When download finished, example.exe should be seen in the download location, in place of the temp file. What happens instead? example.exe shows up at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application\2.0.157.0 Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Windows Vista SP1, 32-bit and 64-bit. No problem downloading "safe" files.
