New issue 6414 by fam....@live.nl: When searching from the address bar the
English google opens
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6414

Chrome Version : [all versions, from 0.2. to 2.0.156.1]
URLs (if applicable) : [none]
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
IE 7: FAIL (feature doesn't excist in IE)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. type a word in the addressbar
2. a menu with your history will appear, and this menu also includes the
option 'search google for [word]'.
3. Click this option
4. The results in google will open IN ENGLISH, AND WITHOUT THE SETTINGS
WHICH ARE STORED IN A COOKIE

So could you add the option that the search results will be in the user's
language and with the settings applied?

What is the expected result?
To view the search results in dutch with my chosen settings

What happens instead?
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=[searched word(s)]&meta=
instead of
http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&q=chrome&meta=
for dutch people (.co.uk --> .nl, hl=en --> hl=nl)
And without any applied settings

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
(the settings I mean are (for example) to automatically open a page in a
new window, to only search for results in the language(s) english and dutch
(so no chinese or spanish for me)
