I also get this in 2.0.157.0. Clearing the cache seems to have no effect. Sometimes when switching tabs the images will be gone on the newly active tab. Also this can take the form of images disappearing when I scroll the page containing them. It seems to happen for me pretty early in a browsing session (first 15 minutes or so) or not at all.
