New issue 6714 by unknown.unit: Tabs resizing to small when there is enough
space to show them large
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6714

Chrome Version : 2.0.157.0 (Developer Build 8165)
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 3:
     Firefox 3: OK
          IE 7: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open a tab and enter a url
2. repeat a couple of times
3. after anything from 2 to 5 tabs are opened, the tab size shrinks to a
tiny size, as it would if you had many tabs open and there wasn't a lot of
empty space in which to show them.

What is the expected result?

tabs should only get smaller when space to display them is in short supply.

What happens instead?

tabs resize before they need to.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

I currently have 11 tabs open taking up about 1/3 of the top of the
browser. Screenshot attached.
