I just noticed this behavior. My Chrome is 2.0.157.2 I have Windows 7 Build 7000. I downloaded a couple of *.exe files and they were supposed to end up in: C:\Users\Legba\Downloads as per Options settings, but they were not there and every time I clicked on the "Show Folder" link the folder didn't open at all.
