New issue 7032 by [email protected]: Find (CTRL + F) doesn't search textareas. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7032 Chrome Version : All URLs (if applicable) : N/A Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: OK Firefox 3: OK IE 7: OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. CTRL + F (or find on a page with a textarea) 2. Chrome's find feature will NOT search for text in a textarea. 3. What is the expected result? The find feature SHOULD highlight text within a textarea. What happens instead? It simply ignores the textarea. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. As a developer working on templating systems such as Expression Engine, I made the switch back to Firefox because of the lack of this feature. I loved my short time with Chrome, I'd come back if this was included in a future release! -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
