New issue 7055 by dglaz...@chromium.org: Working Set Regression due to SimpleFontData unforking http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7055 I removed SimpleFontData CJK optimization in r8647: http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome?view=rev&revision=8647 http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome?view=rev&revision=8646 The optimization capitalized on the fact that most CJK fonts are fixed- width by not populating glyph width table for CJK characters. The regression is only about 100K on Intl1 cycler and is not discernible elsewhere, so it seems like a worthy sacrifice to portability.
