GoogleUpdate does not automatically update Google Chrome when an update is released and lots of people have a 0.x version because it does not work at all for some people. Also, for people who have problems which are fixed in a more recent version of Chrome, if they knew how to update Chrome..their problems would be solved. A lot of people do not even know how to update it; some of them look for it, don't see a button and then give up or look on the web for answers..just search and you will see.
