Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 7318 by chr...@cybernium.net: Popup Titlebar Appears Under Windows Taskbar http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7318
Chrome Version : 2.0.157.0 URLs (if applicable) : slrgear.com OR ANY URL with popups Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: N/T Firefox 3: OK IE 7: N/T What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Unlock the Windows taskbar by right-clicking on it and unchecking the "Lock the Taskbar" option. 2. Move the taskbar to the top of the screen. 3. Lock the Taskbar by checking the option in step 1. 4. Go to a site with popups, for example: http://www.slrgear.com/reviews/showproduct.php/product/178/cat/33 5. Click on a link that requires a popup, say the diagrams on the right side of the page, say under "Blur Index" What is the expected result? The popup appears such that its titlebar appears lower (relative to the screen's vertical real-estate) and is clearly accessible. What happens instead? The popup appears such that its titlebar is behind (covered by) the Taskbar. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. A screenshot is attached. While I realize most people do not have the Tasbar on top, this is an annoying bug for those who prefer to optimize their Windows experience to minimize mouse-movements since application menus are most often closer to the top of the screen.
