New issue 7357 by csandeep: document.referrer not being set on redirects
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7357

Chrome Version : 1.0.154.43
URLs (if applicable) : create a new tiny url from http://tinyurl.com
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 3: OK
     Firefox 3: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. redirect an url, you can use http://tinyurl.com to setup a redirect url
to say google.com and
click the new url
2. open JavaScript console
3. in the console type in document.referrer

What is the expected result?

  The referrer's full url

What happens instead?

The value is set to empty

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

document.referrer is not set if the url is redirected. You can access this
property in FF and Safari
reliably.

I'm not sure if this is being suppressed to prevent ad-sense spammers, but
I have a legitimate
need to determine the referrer value and would appreciate if anyone can
throw some light on
this. Thanks.
