I can still reproduce this issue with both the latest official stable build (9043) and the latest chromium build (9297). for example, go to http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp/9297/ click the "chrome-win32.zip" download link wait for the "Save As..." pop-up, click Cancel click the "chrome-win32.zip" download link again the status bar says "waiting for cache..." and then the page appears to load something, but nothing happens, no Save As dialog shown. The problem occurs when you click the exact same download link again after canceled once. If you click any other download link on the page, it works okay.
